Promotional Idea

I had this idea for a promotion for a store similar to American. Those types of stores are constantly running adds about “No Interest ‘Till 2008″ etc. While those are great promotions, I thought it would be a great idea to run this one in conjuction with those during Christmas time etc.
The idea is simple. Each time someone buys something from the store they have the potential of getting all the items they have just purchased for free. This would be completely randomized and not depend at all on size of purchase etc. Think about the marketing possibilities with this. Imagine a family on a tv commercial for your store talking about how they just walked out with $3,000 dollars worth of free furniture just in time for Christmas. You could run the promotion nationwide, districtwide, statewide, whatever. It is almost like playing the slots in Vegas baby.
